I am a graduate of the State University at Buffalo Law School. Since then I have spent my entire career representing those injured by another’s negligence. I am honored to be the voice of my clients against the powerful interests of the insurance companies and big corporations.  I am keenly aware that it is not just a client’s interests at stake, but those of his or her family members as well.  It is a responsibility I don’t take lightly.

I have handled all types of cases: Railroad FELA, construction accidents, general negligence, auto accidents, premises liability, product liability, and commercial claims. I have had recoveries of all kinds, with many multiple-million dollar settlements and jury verdicts. I enjoy my work immensely, and I particularly like complex cases that present a challenge. In fact, some of my best trial results have been in difficult liability cases or cases that other lawyers thought were unwinnable. I often see cases differently from others, and I am willing to challenge the status quo on behalf of a client.  This often requires appellate expertise as well as significant trial experience. I have both. In addition to numerous appeals to intermediate appellate courts, I have been fortunate enough to have argued cases in the highest Court in the State of New York – the Court of Appeals in Albany.

I am a member of the American Association of Justice, the American Board of Trial Advocates, the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, the Best Lawyers in America, the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the New York State Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association Pro Bono Appeals Panel, and the Erie County Bar Association.  In addition to my busy trial and litigation practice, I regularly speak to legal organizations and community groups on legal topics of general interest. Recently, I participated in the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineer and Trainmen meeting in San Diego, CA and lectured to lawyers on behalf of the New York State Bar Association on the topic of closing arguments in construction accident cases. I welcome the opportunity to discuss your case with you.
